2024 Prize Bridge Awards

Veritas Steel is thrilled to announce that two of our bridge projects have been honored with prestigious AISC 2024 Prize Bridge Awards!
The New Frederick Douglass Memorial Bridge in Washington, D.C., received the AISC 2024 Prize Bridge Award in the Major Span category. Veritas fabricated the steel for the six-lane bridge, including 4,000 tons of structural steel plate girders and 3,140 tons of steel for the hexagonal arch rib sections.
The New Frederick Douglass Memorial Bridge is also a finalist for Bridge of the Year, which will be announced at the 2024 NASCC Steel Conference in March.

Veritas Steel’s Eau Claire facility fabricated structural steel for the I-94 2nd Avenue Bridge, recipient of the AISC 2024 Prize Bridge Award in the Medium Span category.
The Veritas Steel team fabricated 800 tons of steel for the 245-foot structure, which is located in Detroit. The 2nd Avenue Bridge is the first-ever unbraced, skewed network-tied arch bridge.
