Pam Johnson has flourished professionally in her 10 years with Veritas Steel in Eau Claire, WI. Pam started as a detailer producing fabrication drawings and then was asked to consider moving into programming.
With on-the-job training and guidance from her team, she transitioned into production control and CNC programming. Pam produces the CNC programs and cut lists used by machine operators to fabricate the steel plate and structural components for each bridge.
Pam says her favorite part of the job is “working with everyone around me in the process of turning raw material and drawings into a beautiful bridge! I love getting into the details of how the pieces fit together and working on processes to be more effective and efficient in providing the shop the information they need.”
When asked what fuels her strong work ethic, Pam explains: “I know that the work I do is a crucial step in producing what is often a work of art. The crew in the shop depends on the programs being complete and accurate to keep them on schedule, and this motivates me to get moving very early every morning.”
In her free time, Pam enjoys traveling with her husband, kids and grandkids to see different parts of the country. Veritas Steel appreciates Pam’s commitment to excellence and her drive to make Veritas products the best in the business.
